International Scientific Mathematics and Chemistry
Olympiads
for University Students
The National Organization for Educational Testing (NOET) has held 17 National Scientific Olympiads in fields of the Persian Language and Literature, Islamic Theology and Knowledge, Economics, Law, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Statistics, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, and Industrial Design for Iranian students.
The International Mathematics Olympiad has been held since the year 2000. In these 13 years, Iranian students and students from Afghanistan, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, Cyprus, Germany, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Oman, Poland, Russia(Astara Khan), Syria, Serilanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Yugoslavia have taken part in the events.
This year, the 18th Scientific Olympiad for university students will be held in Tehran in mid August, 2013. As the previous 13 years, the Mathematics Olympiad, and the Chemistry Olympiad held internationally.
